For people who don’t normally wear makeup, the wide world of cosmetics can seem pretty daunting. It seems like everybody on Instagram knows how to get their brows on point and how to get the perfect cut crease, and we’re just out here like, “how do I do an eyeliner wing?”
These people taught themselves how to do makeup, with the help of the handy dandy internet, of course. They’ve posted these pictures of their gorgeous selves and kindly listed the products they used to get their looks. Read on if you want to find out what these ladies are wearing, and if you want to see some bomb (and totally doable) makeup looks.
’50s, Flirty, And Fun

This pinup inspired makeup look is so fantastically ’50s. I like how she’s rocking her pale skin tone and gorgeous red hair.
The best parts of this look: definitely the lips and the eyebrows. She used Anastasia Dipbrow in Caramel, and a Nyx micro brow pencil in Auburn to get those ginger brows. The lipstick is Sephora’s cream lip stain in 01 Always Red.
A Real Slam Dunk

This look really takes my breath away. I wish I could be half as talented as this girl. She chose her color palette to match the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Everything goes so perfectly with her hair and eye color. She got the ombre effect on her lips with Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks in Damned” and Underage Red. All the eyeshadows she used came from Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Modern Renaissance palette.
A Makeover For Mom

With some eyeshadow and some excellent blending, this makeup artist was able to fake an eyelid crease. Let me assure you, this is no easy task.
She used Zahara’s Vintage Romance palette, Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner (a classic), and Absolute New York’s metallic liner in Solar. Keep reading for a girl who modeled her makeup look after a trending soft drink.
Gold All Day Every Day

We all know and love Trophy Wife, the very gold highlighter that Rhianna so graciously gave to us as part of her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line. If you don’t know it, you should.
For some of us, this product is a little too blinding as a highlighter. Using it as an eyeshadow is a wonderful alternative.
Making Yellow Shadow Daytime Wearable

This look is absolutely stunning, especially for blue eyes. This makes me want to go out and get a whole bunch of yellow eyeshadow.
This talented lady is wearing Sephora 10 hr wear foundation, Hoola bronzer, Nyx liquid suede lipstick in Orange County, and a bunch of gorgeous shadows from the Morphe 35b palette.

There are four years between the picture on the left and the picture on the right. This is how much you can improve your makeup skills with just a little bit of practice.
I love everything about the look on the right. I may try it out myself tomorrow. In that photo, she’s wearing The Ordinary Serum foundation, Cover fx cream concealer, Lime Crime Venus eyeshadow in Rouge and Venus in the center of her eyes.
A Christmas Eve Makeup Look

I think this girl looks stunning with and without makeup, but those lashes and that red lipstick are killer. This look would be perfect for a Christmas Eve party.

That’s a lot of makeup for a no makeup look.

A Dark And Moody Matte Eye Look

Normally I wear a diffused warm brown color in my crease and a lighter (sometimes metallic) color on my lid, but this look is making want to try something a bit riskier. This look is super dramatic, and it doesn’t even use any liquid liner.
This lady is wearing eyeshadows from the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette, Chi Chi black shadow, Manicare lashes, Essence extreme volume mascara, and Chi Chi brow pomade.
Honeycomb Cut Crease

This golden look is blowing my mind. The metallic stripe under the lash line is so subtle and perfectly placed. I kind of want to scrub off all of my eye makeup and try this right now.
